Albacore Tuna

Phillips Tuna is sourced in Samoa, a South Pacific island nation. The pristine waters produce a superb quality of Tuna, have a strong population and are not overfished. Samoa is a member of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission, which oversees the conservation and management of the regional tuna fisheries by restricting the number of tuna boats and working to reduce by-catch. Phillips is working with the Sustainable Fisheries Partnership (SFP), Samoan producers and the Samoan government to improve the fishery and ensure its sustainability.
